33 - Baggage Area storage bins and access panels riveted
Prior to priming the baggage area parts, I had considered working on the rear baggage bulkhead, but decided it was better to continue this after baggage floors were riveted in place. Therefore other than deburring the edges of these bulkheads, I then put them aside.

Next I primed all the finished baggage area pieces, and began riveting them together.

I started by riveting together the storage bins following the Sky Design plans. These went together very easily, mostly with the pneumatic squeezer.

I then riveted nut plates to the access panel doublers as well as the baggage tie downs.

Next I riveted skin stiffeners and step access panel doublers to the baggage floors. The stiffeners were easily back riveted, however I did not rivet the stiffener adjacent to the storage bin at this time because it will also need to be riveted through the storage bin doubler.

I then made sure that the storage bin doublers fit over the bins without any binding, and that the storage bins continue to open and close smoothly. I did have to file the inside edge of both doublers a little to remove small areas of binding, but overall I was happy with how everything fit together.

With both storage bins assembled, I then riveted them to the doublers and baggage floors using the supplied CS4-4 rivets, and attached the final stiffener by bucking AN426 solid rivets.
